first_imgTouch Football Australia have confirmed a new three year deal with Steeden as the signatory ball supplier for the sport in a new arrangement that will benefit the game immensely from a marketing and operational perspective.The deal announced by Touch Football Australia Chief Executive Officer Kevin Thompson today, encompasses all States of Australia, with the exception of Western Australia who have existing arrangements with an alternate supplier.New South Wales Touch Association already have a long-term partnership with Steeden and the endorsement of the Steeden branded footballs by other States is viewed positively and gives the sport a united niche in the corporate sector.“Steeden were chosen after a competitive tender process and the scope of the new deal involving the majority of Touch Football playing States gives us an accepted official ball for the game that is of the highest quality.The  use of the “Classic Touch” ball will mean extensive and consistent Brand identification for our sport and Steeden. The unitary structure has allowed us to increase the sponsorship benefits for both parties” Mr. Thompson said. Steeden Football Brand Manager Scott Bradford, is excited by the renewal of the company’s partnership with Touch Football Australia.“It is a great step and a strengthening of ties, and with use of the Steeden “Classic Touch” ball as the official ball of the sport in most areas of Australia, it enables us to reach a wider audience.
