Thomas Cook will launch a new high-technology concept brand – SunConnect – in 2014. The new SunConnect Resorts will be located across Turkey, Cyprus, Gran Canaria, Majorca, Tunisia and Croatia. The new resorts will offer family-friendly rooms, free wi-fi, teen online gaming areas, dining rooms, pools and the ability for guests to book daily activities through their smartphones and tablets. Image: SunConnect Resorts Adding to the success of the Sunprime and Sunwing hotels and continuing its on-going transformation, Thomas Cook will open ten SunConnect Resorts mid-next year. “This isn’t just a rebrand of some of our hotels, it’s about our promise to listen to our customers and provide a high-tech, high-touch experience throughout these new resorts,” Thomas Cook Group chief executive Harriet Green said.
