first_img A ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’-Themed Cookbook Is Coming This FallBest Food, Drinks, and Merch at ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ In a galaxy far, far away, Disneyland recently welcomed the one millionth member of its Millennium Falcon flight crew.On Thursday, Disneyland announced the rider milestone, which took place at the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction inside the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park land earlier this week, according to a Disney Parks blog post.Disney cast members welcomed the Ridgeway family from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, including Jonathan Ridgeway, 8, Logan, 4, mom Becky and dad Roger on the intergalactic ride. Following the one millionth rider celebration, the family was treated with a special visit from Chewbacca and enjoyed Blue and Green Milk at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is a ride that brings together interactive gameplay and immersive storytelling to take visitors on their own Star Wars-themed adventure. Visitors are given three critical roles: Flight Engineers, Gunners, and Pilots. For the ride, each group of four has to smuggle goods and avoid obstacles along an intergalactic journey.Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, on May 31. Since opening its doors, the massive theme park has welcomed Star Wars fans from all over the world.
